Why doesn't my regular dentist perform my surgery?
Every dentist in Texas is licensed to perform all types of dentistry. Most dentists choose to limit their practices to certain phases of dentistry. Your dentist has chosen to refer patients to another dentist for the surgical care that they require.

Is Dr. Roberts a specialist in oral and maxillofacial surgery?
Dr. Roberts is a general dentist who provides oral surgery services. He completed a two-year, post-graduate dental residency training program in July 1987. During those two years, he received training in the removal of wisdom teeth (3rd molars), oral surgery, dental implants, and I.V. sedation.
